This Privacy Policy explains what information Softbuildsapps LLC, doing business as TapCards USA ("TapCards", "we", "us"), of 556 N Starcrest Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84116, collects when you use tapcardsusa.com, buy our cards, or use a customer dashboard, and what we do with it. Business, card, order and tap records described below are stored in our Cloudflare Workers KV datastore (the TAPCARDS KV namespace).
1. Information we collect
- Order information - when you buy cards, our checkout (run by Stripe) collects your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address so we can program and ship your order. After payment, we store an order record in KV with your name, email, phone, shipping address, the items and amounts paid, and fulfillment status (for example paid or shipped), so we can fulfill and support the order.
- Account and business information - for dashboard customers, we store in KV your business record: business ID, business name, email address if you gave us one, the login token we issue you, whether the account is suspended, and when it was created.
- Card and review-link data - we store each card record in KV: card ID, label, the review destination link you configure, whether the card is active, its business assignment, lifetime tap count, and creation date. We store the link to your review page, not the text of reviews themselves - reviews are written and stored on the review platform (for example Google), under that platform's policy.
- Tap data - when someone taps a card, we increase that card's lifetime tap count and a daily counter for that card and date, so your dashboard can show totals and 30-day trends. A tap does not collect personal information about the person who tapped: we do not record their name, phone, location, or device identity.
- Subscription information - if you subscribe to Dashboard Pro, Stripe tells us your subscription status (for example active, past due, or cancelled), and we store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs with your business record so the dashboard can show the right state.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To program, ship, and support your cards and orders.
- To operate your dashboard, including tap counts and charts.
- To manage subscriptions and billing status.
- To respond to your emails and support requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
4. How we share information
We share information only with the providers needed to run the service:
- Stripe - payment processing and subscription billing.
- Cloudflare - website hosting and KV data storage.
- Shipping carriers - your name and shipping address, to deliver your order.
- Softbuildsapps services you use - if you sign in through the Softbuildsapps Hub, or a connected Softbuildsapps product such as RankCurrent asks for your tap statistics using your own business ID and login token, we return your business name, card tap totals and your configured review link to that service. We do not share your data with other businesses.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in to your dashboard, and your browser local storage to remember what is in your shopping cart. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data retention and security
Business, card, order and daily tap-counter records are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV while your account is active and for as long as needed for bookkeeping and support. We keep order and account records for completed orders and accounting even after an account is deleted, as described in Section 7. Dashboard access is protected by your personal login token; treat it like a password. No online service can promise perfect security, but access to customer data is limited to operating the service.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your account information, or to issue you a new login token, at any time by emailing info@tapcardsusa.com. Deleting your account removes your dashboard access and associated business data, except records we must keep for completed orders and accounting.
8. Children
TapCards is a business service. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the version on this page is current. Questions: Softbuildsapps LLC, doing business as TapCards USA, 556 N Starcrest Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84116 - info@tapcardsusa.com
